Buyer performance improvements

With “Buyer performance” report improvements, see how buyers are doing in these focus areas:

  • Results
  • Workload
  • Engagement
  • Inventory actions
  • Supplier performance

Delta

Similar to Site performance, select a time frame to show a delta between today‘s date and a point in the past. See how the KPI is changing over time.

Export

Now, Buyer performance can be exported. The deltas show as a separate column with the delta timeframe in the column name.

New buyer workload columns

  • Number of Workbench overdue tasks: the count of Workbench tasks that are considered late
  • Open PO count: the number of open purchase orders
  • POs placed in the last 30 days: number of POs that have been placed in the last 30 days
  • PO recs created during the last 30 days: number of LeanDNA PO recommendations that have been created in the last 30 days
  • Supplier count: number of suppliers for active items

New inventory actions columns

  • Open inventory actions count: previously named “Open inventory actions”
  • Fixed inventory actions count (2 wks): previously named “Fixed inventory actions (2 wks)”
  • Expired inventory actions count (2 wks): previously named “Expired inventory actions (2 wks)”
  • Inventory action expired value (current reporting period): value of inventory actions that have expired in the current reporting period
  • Inventory action expired value (previous reporting period): value of inventory actions that have expired in the current reporting period
  • Unable to fix inventory actions count (2 wks): number of inventory actions that have been marked as unable to fix in the last two weeks
  • Inventory action unable to fix value (current reporting period): value of inventory actions that have been marked as “unable to fix” in the current reporting period
  • Inventory action unable to fix value (previous reporting period): value of inventory actions that have been marked as “unable to fix” in the previous reporting period

New supplier performance columns

  • Commit date accuracy last 30 days: the % of POs (closed within the last 30 days) with a receipt date within the grace period of the commit date. The grace period can be adjusted in the supplier performance site settings.
  • Compliance %: the percentage of purchase orders that match Workbench configuration rules. The numerator is the count of open and past due POs matching the rules and have the required information. The denominator is the count of all open and past due POs matching the rules. If Workbench isn’t enabled, then the percentage is based on the purchase orders expected in the next 30 days.
  • Last month supplier OTD: the on-time delivery percentage for the suppliers assigned to items belonging to the buyer, site or item group (depending on the report) for last month
  • Number of non-compliant POs: the count of POs that are considered non-compliant based on Workbench settings. These typically include missing PO dates and past due PO dates.
  • Supplier-added commit date %: the percentage of commit dates that were added by suppliers for purchase orders that match the workbench configuration rules. “Commit dates” refer to the manually-entered “supply order commit date” in LeanDNA. If Workbench isn’t enabled, then the percentage is based on the purchase orders expected in the next 30 days that were added by the suppliers.

Use cases

Create different views of Buyer performance to capture each use case. Below is an example that is focused on buyer workload. Same could be done for engagement, inventory actions, results, and supplier performance.
